Application Forms:
  • Online submission can be done on www.nimcet2012.nitw.ac.in from 13.02.2012 to 12.04.2012. Last date for the receipt of applications is 16.04.2012.
Eligibility:
Indian Nationals securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC, ST category) in 12th (i.e. 10 + 2) level or equivalent, with Mathematics as one of the subjects at either 10+1 or 10+2 level or at both the levels AND Qualifying Degree - Bachelor’s Degree of Full time* 3 year or more duration from a recognized University with at least one of the following as a chosen subject of study:

Mathematics, Statistics, Business Mathematics, Business Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Elementary Mathematics, Elementary Statistics are eligible to apply for NIMCET-2012.

The percentages of marks in 10+2 and qualifying degree are to be calculated on the basis of marks obtained in all the subjects (including optional subjects, if any) studied.

Students who have completed/completing qualifying degree (programme of three year or more duration) from Open Universities are eligible to apply provided their programme is approved by UGC or AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India.

The candidates who are appearing for all the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for NIMCET-2012. Such candidates shall have to furnish the proof of fulfilling the eligibility criteria of NIMCET-2012 preferably at the time of Counseling/Admission but not later than 31st August, 2012, failing which their admission is liable to be cancelled by the respective NITs.

The completed application form with all the documents as listed in the check list should be sent to The Secretary, NIMCET - 2012, Warangal - 506 004 by speed post/registered post so as to reach on or before Monday, 16th April, 2012. The application form can also be submitted in the office of NIMCET-2012 at NIT, Warangal by hand on all working days between 10.00AM and 05.00 PM.

Master of Computer Application (MCA):
For admission to first year of MCA, candidate must have passed Bachelor degree course of minimum three years duration from any recognized University with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or at Bachelor Degree level. The candidate must have clearly passed without grace marks with an aggregate of 40% marks for General and OBC and 35% for SC/ST Candidates.
How To Apply
OMR application form with Information Brochure can be purchased from Last week of Jan 2012 to Last week of February 2012(both days inclusive) from Head Post Offices & Mukhya Dak Ghar of Uttar Pradesh. However, the University will not be responsible if the forms are not available at any of such places mentioned above on certain date(s).
The candidate can fillup the On-Line application form, from any place through internet by loging on to www.mtu.ac.in and www.uptu.ac.in from Last week of Jan 2012 to Last week of Feb 2012 as per the detailed procedure given in the websites.
After submit button on the On-Line application form, the candidate should take printout of the completed application form. The candidate should retain his/her copy and complete with photograph and signature the other copy and post the same along with bank challan duely verified  by the bank for having deposited the fee as applicable as per clause 4.
Completed application form (OMR type or On-Line) duly filled must reach The Registrar (UPSEE-2012), Mahamaya Technical University, C-22, Sector-62, Noida - 201301, G.B. Age Limit: Candidate should be less than 20 years of age at the time of appearing for SET as on 05 May 2012 ( 2 years relaxation for SC / ST candidates i.e. 22 years ).

Applicants who have obtained 10+2 through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible apply.

How to Apply Step I : A candidate can register for one paper from the morning session viz. Law or Engineering or Health Sciences and one paper from the afternoon session viz. General or Design Register at SLS SET Website www.set-test.org. This will generate your SET ID.
You need to upload latest scanned photograph ( in the given format and size ) of your own at the time of SLS online registration.

Step II : Pay a non-refundable fee of rs. 1500/- towards the Test Fee and the prospectus of undergraduate programs of Symbiosis International University. The SIU Admission Cell will courier a copy of prospectus to the address registered at Symbiosis website www.set-test.org.
